My name is Michelle and I am an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner by Training. I am a passionate and caring individual with over 12 years of physical therapy experience in both Neurological and Orthopedic conditions.
Prior to my Osteopathic career, I completed a Bachelor in Physical Education and Health at the University of Toronto. While completing my education I was given the opportunity to work with the Varsity Women’s Rugby and Varsity Men’s Basketball team as their Athletic Therapist. As well as volunteering as a Basketball and Soccer Coach for the Special Olympics.
I completed a Graduate Certificate at Humber College, receiving a Diploma of Honors in Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management. During this time I completed additional courses in therapeutic exercises for MSK and special populations, fitness assessment and exercise prescription.
I grew up in various sports: competing as a gymnast, playing competitive soccer and staying active with other recreational sports such as volleyball and snowboarding. My love for the healthcare profession began at a young age when I received rehabilitative therapy for my own injuries.
I am a professional member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) and in Good Standing.
